Annual Report 2020-21
The National Independent Safeguarding Board Wales is very pleased to publish its 2020-2021 Annual Report. It is being published at a time when the impact of the pandemic has, once again, affected every aspect of safeguarding in Wales. This year’s annual report is inevitably dominated by the pandemic and its impact on the effectiveness of safeguarding arrangements in Wales, but also focuses on all that has been achieved in safeguarding during 2020/21. The NISB would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the ongoing response of the agencies and partners working in safeguarding and thank the workforce who continue to rise so professionally to the challenges they have faced in this ‘new world’.
